2024 Year in Review

While home prices continue to rise, you’ll notice the increase in 2024 wasn’t nearly as drastic as ‘19-’21.
The chart above begins with pre-Pandemic numbers in 2019 - the last “normal” year in recent real estate history.
Charlotte, Shelburne & Stowe continue to out-pace the rest of the markets.
You’ll notice a sharp increase in 2021, with markets increasing but not at such a ridiculous pace. This and the increase in price drops in 2024 suggest the market is beginning to stabilize, albeit at a considerable increase from just five years ago.
